Findings

Before getting into the action we studied the APQC Process Classification Framework.

Then, we organized a kick-off in-team meeting to learn and brainstorm industries that we are planning to reach out to.

Based on the Process Classification Framework, we selected industries such as software and production. Afterward, we planned ways to research potential companies.

We used online resources such as business directories, industry publications, and social media platforms. Mainly we looked for companies that show signs of needing BPM support, such as outdated or inefficient processes.

Next, after looking carefully at the sources, we prepared a presentation that shows us as a team and our offer to BPM support in the scope of an educational university program.

We looked at job search platforms, such as staff.am and Glassdoor to find out companies that seek BPM specialists. After finding several companies we looked at the managerial profiles on Linkedin.

As a final step, we directly reached out to them via Linkedin, and introduced ourselves, our purpose, as well as the pitch deck. Afterward, we selected one process to model and detail using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) in ADONIS on all three levels (process landscape, process group, and main process).
