What the Library Does

1. Providing Access to Specialized Resources
The library’s print and digital collections are organized around Whitecliffe’s core study areas.
All holdings are searchable via the Online Catalog (OPAC) and the Research Repository.

2. Building Information Literacy
Knowing where to look is only half the challenge; knowing how to evaluate and use what you find is the other half. The library supports students and faculty through:
• Research guides (LibGuides) covering key databases, citation practices, and subject-specific resources
• Pre-arranged research workshops and seminars; faculty should contact the library for details

3. Preserving Institutional Memory
The library systematically collects scholarly and professional work produced by members of the Whitecliffe community, students and staff alike. These works are catalogued in the Institutional Bibliography and include:
• Bachelor’s and Master’s theses
• Journal articles and book chapters
• Research and working papers
• Book publications

Using the Library

The library is open exclusively to Whitecliffe students, faculty, and staff. As a member of the university community, you have access to:

• Study desks for individual and group work

• Desktop computers and free Wi-Fi
• A self-service multifunction printer, scanner, and copier
• Weekend and semester-break borrowing privileges

The library is not open to the general public.
