Product Design and Graphic Design & Visual Communication

Innovative lighting design will play a major role in a global shift to a more sustainable future worth living for coming generations. Efficient, sustainable designs and the rapid development in the field of LED technology as well as the huge advances in 3D Printing (remote manufacturing) must contribute to the overdue turnaround in global energy policy. Likewise careful lighting designs have the potential to significantly increase the wellbeing of the individual - leading to a bright future.
Student teams from the fields of Product Design as well as Graphic Design & Visual Communication design their vision and a product for a bright future:
The students identify the great challenges of lighting design and digital production means in a globalized industrial world. They meet the challenges with a holistic product (product experience), accompanied by a marketing campaign, branding, packaging and distribution strategy.
