Students of the 4th semester product design explored the potentials of arduino and sensors as a creative tool for digital | analog mockups. After gaining a profound insight into programming in arduino IDE and wiring hardware the students build an empathic tool. They build a Co-bot, a physical object, equipped with sensors and outputs that helps certain focus groups in their everyday life. A smart home system for people with dementia, an interface enabling people with paralysis to autonomously use computers navigating with their chin and other meaningful designs were created.
