Visual Media in Product Design

Freehand drawing is an effective and universal medium for visualizing product ideas and concepts. Industrial Designers share technical, constructive and formal information through drawings. The degree of freedom, pace and the analytical qualities of a good sketch with pen on paper is presently unrivalled. Throughout the design process freehand drawings are of use in manifold ways: brainstorming, form finding, technical detailing, renderings and much more. Equipped we the proper tools the students explored the potentials of a freehand drawing on various tasks.
