Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Max Kaase

Max Kaase was Founded Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and vice president of the International University of Bremen (2002-2006). He served as Vice President of the European Science Foundation and President of the International Political Science Association (IPSA) (2003-2006). His research interests include the political dimension of demographic changes in the direction of an ever-aging population. He is a member of numerous committees and advisory boards (as well as the Trustee of the German Science Foundation, University of Mannheim) and was awarded several honorary doctoral titles as well as the Federal Cross of Merit.
