Our lecturer Magdalena Kallenberger who is a Media artist and designer, took the first semester Graphic Design and Visual Communication students to FELD | studio for digital crafts in Berlin-Kreuzberg. FELD’s expertise ranges from designing vinyl covers for music legends such as Nils Frahm and Ólafur Arnalds to the development of a generative LED-Wall-Installation for the Reebok headquarter in Boston and luminous light sculptures. Co-Founder and director Torsten Posselt gave an inspiring presentation on their “iterative and experiment-driven design process” and on how “constraints lead you to better solutions”.
